Drift eliminators are key components in cooling towers, engineered to capture large water droplets carried in the air stream as it flows through the tower. Their specialized design-often featuring zigzag or labyrinth-like paths-forces the air and entrained droplets to change direction, separating the liquid from the airflow. This process effectively prevents water droplets and mist from escaping the tower, helping to reduce water loss and avoid potential issues like equipment corrosion or environmental impact.
