HDG Carbon Steel Cross Flow Open Cooling Towers boast outstanding anti-corrosion performance, widely applied in HVAC systems, petrochemical industries, and power plants. Featuring a cost-effective initial investment, our HDG Carbon Steel Open Towers are engineered with heavy-duty Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) carbon steel structure or optional stainless steel components, ensuring exceptional sturdiness and durability. Single cell water flow rate: 20-1000 m³/h.
1. Tower Body
With a rational structural design, stable air circulation, high-quality HDG carbon steel material, and anti-rust finish, the tower body offers excellent weather resistance, high mechanical strength, and long service life. The lower tower section can be equipped with overflow pipes, sewage pipes, and automatic water supply pipes according to customer requirements. It enables direct water intake, eliminating the need for an additional cooling pool. Additionally, a sound-absorbing mat is installed to effectively reduce operating noise.
2. Filler
Adopts high-performance PVC corrugated plates with enhanced lateral convex ribs, which strengthen water redistribution capacity. The filler features low air resistance, superior thermal performance, and a wide adaptive temperature range of -50ºC to 70ºC, ensuring efficient heat exchange even in extreme working conditions.
3. Water Distributor and Water Pipe
Equipped with stainless steel ball bearings for flexible and reliable operation, ensuring uniform water distribution across the filler. The water pipes are made of durable materials, and closed water baffle plates are installed inside the pipes to prevent water splashing. Moreover, a spray-type water distribution system is available as an optional configuration to meet specific project needs.
4.Fan: low noise and high efficiency fan. The blade of fan is plate airfoil type (aluminum alloy,steel,FRP )
5.Motor:Specially designed for the cooling tower. Low noise, saving energy,waterproof properties is good, waterproof properties is good and high efficiency.
6.Reduction Gear: Adopts to the polyester fiber reinforced neoprene belt transmission, high temperature resistant, high efficiency, low noise, don't stretch in the water so it can overcome the skid phenomenon, or the gear box connect with the motor together.(depend on the model)
7.Noise Elimination Device:Ultra low noise type cooling tower increase the sound absorption material outside the air intake, also equipped with the sound absorption grating in the tower body in order to achieve maximum noise reduction effect. There is shielding and absorption material trumpet sound absorption grating in the upper tower body air outlet to reduce the noise of the fan and motor.
8.Wind Inlet Window: Equipped with the FRP louver blade, Air resistance is small, so it is suitable for the northern region and the place that need to the cooling tower all year around.
9.Support Frame:all the steel frame are assembly type. The surface of support frame is galvanized and paint anti-corrosion. The fastener are all adopt hot dip galvanized steel.

1. Space saving and lightweight struciure
The high efficiency heat exchange packing specially designed for this series of cooling towers has greatlyimproved the heat exchange area. Compared with the original dbh series and the original cdbhz series, thefloor area of the packing is greatly reduced, which is superior to the optimization of structural design and theuse of light steel structure, and the operation weight is also greatly reduced.
2. Save power
The packing with small ventilation resistance and wing type FRP high-efficiency fan specially designedfor cooling tower by Tsinghua University are used to reduce the motor power used, and the motor power usedfor ultra-low noise type is smaller and more power saving. According to the users requirements, it can also beequipped with two speed motor to save electricit.
3. Low operation noise
The wing type axial-flow fan made of FRP material and the low noise motor designed for the coolingtower by Tsinghua University are used to reduce the running noise of the cooling tower. The operation noiseof ultra-low noise series cooling tower is lower, which fully meets the environmental protection requirements. If equipped with a two speed motor, it can reduce the low noise by another 2-3db(a)at low speed at night.Users need to put forward separate requirements for two speed motors when ordering.
4. Good corrosion resistance
The tower body, water tank and panel are made of FRP with good corrosion resistance, and lightstabilizer is added in the gel coat resin, which has good anti-aging performance and is durable. The steelstructure parts of the tower body are galvanized after processing to improve the corrosion resistance of thecooling tower. in the normal service life, no additional corrosion protection is required
5. Convenient combination
The combination mode can be adopted to meet the requirements of different working conditions. Theuser can also decide the combination according to the site conditions, and adjust the appearance of thecooling tower according to the building characteristics of the user. If the users site is very limited, the fourthdesign and Research Institute of the Ministry of mechanical industry can also design according to the specialrequirements of the user to meet the users requirements for thermal performance and noise.
