02 Working principle
For BNX counterflow closed cooling tower, the fresh air intakes from bottom air inlet and mixes alternate with the falling spray water in reverse direction, and will be formed saturated hot air. The heat will be exhausted out by top fans, but the water will be collected to water collection basin for secondary spraying by its special designed drift eliminator. As no infill inside, BNX counterflow closed cooling tower has much space to enlarge its discharge area per unit heat of the coil, more compact structure and requires less footprint.

04 Main Components:
1.Fan motors: Siemens, WEG, China brands..
A. Top famous brand, with Siemens or WEG brand motors, high efficiency and low noise, special designed for evaporative condenser.
B. Axial flow, induced draft type, PAG blades.
C. Axial fans are mounted on top of evaporative condenser. Removable protective nets set in the side of the wind turbine.
D. Motor is adopted with outdoor and waterproof, mechanical seal, protection IP55, insulation class F;
E. Fan characteristic parameters meet design conditions, all blades with high quality process and reliable, smooth surface, each section transition uniform, no cracks, nicks, burrs; The gap of blade between the cooling evaporative condenser inner shell are same, and fans get through dynamic and static balance test and torque balance test. Fans rigorous static and dynamic balance need to be corrected before delivery, no chattering.
F. Duct connection with fasteners made of galvanized steel or stainless steel;
G. Direct-drive type fan, no need belt transmission, to save energy and improve drive efficiency, so the fan with following advantages: simple layout, low noise, no transmission loss, high efficiency, low friction components, easy maintenance etc.
2. Coils: Galvanized steel, stainless steel..
A. Each group of coil tubes is arranged with consistent slope, and the slope direction same with the water flow direction, east to facilitate water discharge from the pipe.
B. Bracket for the coil is made by welded sectional material, and all processing technologies meet China National Metal Welding Workmanship Requirements & Standard. The cleaning and coating workmanship of the coil bracket surface same to the evaporative condenser bracket.
C. Designed pressure is 2.0MPa, tubes in each group go through previewing and pressure test, and then to be assembled after getting through quality test. Test in the water with pressure 2.5MPa after assembled, to ensure its high performance in pressure resistance.
D. Heat exchange coil is made of Galvanized steel or stainless steel.
3.Spray water distribution system
A. Spraying Pumps: The spraying pump special designed for evaporative condenser, with Siemens or WEG brand motors. With high flow, low head, high efficiency, low noise, low power and energy saving advance. Pump motor with protection class IP55, insulation class F.
B. Spraying Water Pipe: made of PVC, with flowing advantages: easy cold, high pressure resistance, anti-corrosion, and water resistant. All spraying manifolds are adopted removable type, easy to replace and clean.
C. Nozzle: ABS material injection molding nozzle basket type -2-efficiency provided by the well-known brand suppliers; Adopt bigger hole diameter nozzles to prevent from blocking, which has a large flow, no clogging, water distribution uniformity, etc; in the design of the nozzle so that the different positions of the cloth water flow deviation <5% of the entire water distribution system can guarantee 70% to 130% of the rated flow of water distribution uniformity.
E. Water level control system: the water level in spraying water tray is controlled by galvanized steel ball valve.
4.Fill &Drift Eliminator
A. The fill is one of the most important part of cooling tower, PVC heating exchange layer more effective to cool the water temperature by enlarge the evaporating surface.
B. The PVC fill are produced by total automatic controlled high-speed blister forming machine in my workshop, better and more quick shaping. Meanwhile, the machine ensures the consistency of all fillers, being glued to entire body with glue rate no less than 95%, the compressive strength ≥300Kg/m2. The fillers have large heat exchanging surface and minimum air resistance, more effective.
C. With special design, fill surface has good hydrophilicity, water absorptivity less than 0.015%. So more water film produced without splashing down. Water flowing rate less than 0.01%, more water saving, very suitable to Water stress region. Corrosion resistant, flame retardant, reinforced PVC packing, inflaming retarding oxygen index≥30. All raw material imported from South Asia to ensure the cooling tower fillers top quality and high performance
D. Drift eliminator: efficient water collection device is a standard part of evaporative condenser, which allows drift loss by circulating water less than 0.002%. Drift eliminator is made of corrosion-resistant modified PVC, Oxygen index of flame retardant≥30. Packet installed inside the unit, in order to access the internal water distribution system and other components.

(2) What is the difference between a "counter flow" and a "cross flow" cooling tower?
The crossflow or counterflow designation characterizes the orientation of the airflow within the heat-transfer media (fill) in the tower with respect to the direction of water flow.
In counterflow towers air travels vertically upwards through the fill and makes intimate contact with water droplets falling down through the fill media. Hence the air and water travel in opposite directions.
In crossflow cooling towers the air passes through the fill media in a horizontal direction, thus crossing the downward water flow. Counterflow towers are inherently more efficient than crossflow towers.
